TED 500 Intro to Comp for Educators

The course is a content embedded pedagogical course which integrates appropriate content related to a student's professional content track as students are introduced to the scope of educational technology. Strategies for integrating technologies in K-12 settings will address issues such as digital citizenship and meeting the needs of a diverse student population, including students with special needs. A variety of theories of learning, strategies for classroom integration as well as instructional design models are introduced as students apply these principles, strategies and models of curricular design to course projects. Students explore mobile technologies and apps designed for use in educational settings. (Offered on a rotating schedule).
