EDU 587 Comp Algebra Sec Sch Tchrs

The purpose of this course is to introduce secondary school mathematics and science teachers and teacher candidates to a modern computer algebra system (Maple V, in particular) to provide them with the opportunity to gain proficiency in using such a system, and to demonstrate how a computer algebra system may be used as a powerful teaching tool in their high school mathematics and science classes.
