EDA 541 Education Law for SDBL

A study of the legal areas of school districts with an emphasis on school finance, business operations, types of school organizations in New York State and their structure and functions; employer/employee relationships and their legal ramifications; student rights and student discipline; due process and equal protection clauses of the 14th Amendment, and procedural and substantive due process. This a core requirement of the MSED and CAS School District Buisness Leader programs. Offered in sequence with each cohort group.
