AEC Center Information

CU has the Academic Success Center (ASC) to help students be successful. The ASC includes the Office of the Chaplain, Office of Student Success (tutoring and writing center), Office of Career Services and Internships and the Office of Retention and Tennessee Promise Services. The ASC with its different departments provides students with the academic support needed to progress through a program, complete their degree and pursue a career upon graduation. Along with the ACS, the university also offers Counseling and Disability Services. Disability Services assistant students with any academic accommodations that they might qualify for to be successful in the classroom. CU also provides a university counselor that is available to students for personal counseling needs. Academic Advising is provided by the university through specific advisors, program directors, and/or the registrar’s office. The assigned advisor will assist the student in successfully entering and completing a program of study.
