SOC 392 Millennium Issues: Drugs and Alcohol Abuse

This course addresses a current issue of concern to Americans. It provides an in-depth analysis of the problem of drugs and alcohol abuse in America, and how we confront and solve the problem will have considerable impact on society for the next one hundred years. This course includes an analysis of the extent of the problem of drugs and alcohol abuse, the various sides to the argument, some possible solutions, and the consequences of the various solutions for both the individual and society.
