MU 230 Digital Music Production

In this course, students will develop skills necessary to create digital music for future use within various digital media productions. The course will cover using loops, overlaying music and voice to loops and other digitized music formats. It will be an introduction to midi and audio recording, and currently available software for digital music production. The course will also include a brief unit on necessary music knowledge for operation of digital music software applications being studied.
