MI 410 Principles of Music Management

This course presents the tools necessary to manage the career of an artist in the music business, turning artistic expression into commerce. The important elements of planning, execution, promotion, marketing and talent development by a manager on behalf of an artist are included, as well as many of the critical elements of entrepreneurship in terms of both the artist's and the manager's careers.
