MI 350 Digital New Media

The course is offered as an essential part of the Music Industry sequence. The music industry continues to see music transitioning from being a physical product to a digital product. At the same time, marketing and promotional tools in the music industry are experiencing new opportunities by the explosive growth of personal electronics and social media, benefiting both entrepreneurs and companies in the music industry. Success in the modern music industry requires an understanding of so-called new media and their digital components and this 15 week course provides this to the student.
