ENG 300 Introduction to Literary Studies

This course is designed to help students acquire knowledge and skills necessary for advanced study in English language, literature, and rhetoric. This course includes attention to basic literary vocabulary, scansion and metaphor in poetics, analysis of structure and voice in narrative, critical approaches to literature, proper research methods, and correct verbal and written presentation of research.
