James S. Legg Scholarship

This scholarship is awarded to a student majoring in business. Mr. Legg graduated from the Cumberland University School of Law in 1930 and received the “Award of the ” from in 1977. He was president of the Jaynelle Shoe Company and for several years hosted a series of business conferences on the University campus. The scholarship was established after his death in 1984 by his widow, Mrs. Dorothy Legg.
