Homer Dean Tomlinson Scholarship

This scholarship was established in memory of Homer Dean Tomlinson by his wife, Peggy Franklin Tomlinson, Mr. Tomlinson, a native of , attended in 1960 through 1962. He taught school in Wilson County, TN and was principal at Tucker’s Crossroads. Additionally, he taught at Mt. Juliet Jr. High, and then became Assistant Principal of Mt. Juliet High were he served 13 years. He was an educator, a civic leader, and loved by many people. The scholarship is awarded to a graduate with an 18 ACT composite (or equivalent SAT critical reading and mathematics combined score) and 2.50 GPA. This award is renewable for four years or eight semesters provided full-time status and a 2.50 GPA are maintained. Recipients are selected by the Student Financial Services Committee.
