Recipient must be a full-time student, an elementary education major with minimum GPA of 3.00, partially or wholly self-supporting, and in need of financial assistance. Additionally, he/she must display a balanced, well-rounded academic and extracurricular educational experience. Mr. Martin, a 1939 graduate of , was a educator and farmer. Mr. Martin was a man deeply devoted to education throughout his life.
