Computer Analytics and Informatics

The B.S. in Computer Analytics and Informatics prepares students for positions in the new field of Analytics and Informatics. Students in the CAI program will aquire fundamental information and analytic skills that will form the foundation for work or graduate studies in this burgeoning field. Students will be exposed to a broad range of business and industry practices for information systems, concentrating on the management and analysis of large data systems. Successful completion of this program requires strong mathematical skills. The specific course requirements for the B.S. in CAI are outlined below.

Total Required Business Core Courses (36 hours)*
Total Required CIS/CAI Courses (36 hours)*
General Electives (1-4 hours)*

*indicates all courses require a "C" or higher. GEC courses that require a "C" or higher are ENG 101, ENG 102, and MATH 121.

A minimum of 120 hours is required for graduation.

Students who have not taken Trigonometry in high school are strongly advised to take Math 112 (Trigonometry) before taking Calculus I (Math 122).
