CHM 203/203L Quantitative Analysis

An introductory analytical chemistry course which emphasizes laboratory techniques and associated theory and calculations. Involves discussion of statistics, stoichiometry, redox reactions, theory of analysis and analytical instrumentation. CHM 203L Laboratory required. A series of wet chemical and instrumental determinations of the concentration of unknowns will be performed. Separations and pre-analytic preparation are involved. Lab Fee. Prerequisite: CHM 191.
